Both Microsoft and OpenAI have announced they are extending on the 3 year partnership they already have to keep making advancements together around Artificial Intelligence (AI). This partnerships includes AI products like ChatGPT, DALL-E, GitHub Copilot, and the Azure OpenAI Service.

Both companies are stating that they’re missions both support the idea of ensuring that advanced AI benefits all of humanity. Through this Open AI and Microsoft are working together in their partnership to commercialize the resulting advanced AI technologies.

Here are a couple areas that Microsoft has announced they are working on together with OpenAI through this partnership to help advance the Microsoft Azure cloud:

• Microsoft Supercomputing at scale
  Microsoft is continuing to build out Microsoft Azure’s leading AI infrastructure utilizing OpenAI’s groundbreaking AI research and advancements.
• New AI-powered experienced for Microsoft Azure
  Microsoft is deploying OpenAI’s models in Microsoft Azure, including the Azure OpenAI Service, to enable new AI experiences for consumer and enterprise products. These integrations will help developers build innovative AI-powered solutions.
• Microsoft Azure is the Exclusive Cloud Provider for OpenAI
  Microsoft has announced that Microsoft Azure is OpenAPI’s exclusive cloud provider. This means that Microsoft Azure will power all of OpenAI’s workloads across research, products and API services.
