Build5Nines.com (aka Build Five Nines) is focused on helping you be more productive with Cloud & Enterprise technology. The site was launched as BuildAzure.com back in 2015 with a heavy focus on Microsoft Azure related content. Since then, the site has grown to include a weekly newsletter with 10,000+ subscribers, and branching out to include all areas of cloud and enterprise technology in and around the Microsoft technology space. In late 2019, the site was rebranded as Build5Nines.com as a way to show the broader focus on content that covers everything in the cloud and enterprise space; not just specifically Microsoft technologies. We cover areas including Microsoft Azure, DevOps, Software Development, Cloud Computing, Windows Server, Linux, Open Source, the Internet of Things (IoT), and more!
Build5Nines takes its inspiration after the highly sought after service availability target of 99.999% (“Five Nines“) available uptime. This level of uptime guarantees no more than 5.26 minutes of downtime per year. Many IT systems attain 99% or even 99.99% (“Four Nines“), but few are able to achieve Five Nines of availability. The primary goal of Build5Nines is to help you build IT systems that approach, or even may achieve, the 99.999% (“Five Nines“) level of high availability. Follow, subscribe, and join us in the journey to “Build Five Nines“!
Build5Nines.com is a showcase of unique and aggregated content that focuses on EVERYTHING within the Cloud & Enterprise technology space; from Developer to IT Pro and everything in between. The site contains how-to articles, certification news, open source showcases, and MUCH MORE!
