I have been recognized by HashiCorp due to my continued dedicated and commitment to helping the DevOps and Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) community with being awarded the HashiCorp Ambassador award for 2023! Anyone who has been following Build5Nines knows that I’ve been writing a lot about using HashiCorp Terraform for automating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments. HashiCorp has recognized the regular content contributions I make to the community right here on Build5Nines.
My own personal journey with HashiCorp Terraform started about 4 years ago, but I have been writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployment automation scripts in a variety of languages for many years now. You will find content from me around some of these other technologies published on Build5Nines as well.
With all the community contributions I do here on Build5Nines, as well as other avenues online and in-person, I am now both an active Microsoft MVP and HashiCorp Ambassador. This isn’t my first time earning this award either. I was awarded HashiCorp Ambassador for my first time back in 2021, so 2023 makes the second time I’ve received this community recognition from HashiCorp.
On a related note, I am definitely not new to the community. I’ve been awarded Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) 12 times now. My own journey of being a recognized expert in the community, grown out of my passion for technology and helping others, all started back in 2008 when I was first awarded the Microsoft MVP award.
Neither the Microsoft MVP or HashiCorp Ambassador programs are paid. These are purely community recognitions given to those who are active helping in the community and have established themselves as independent experts in the industry. I am both excited and humbled to be recognized! It’s humbling to be recognized in the same league as all the other amazing experts that are awarded each year.
Thank you HashiCorp! It feels great to be recognized in the community. Here’s to another great upcoming year of helping the DevOps and SRE community be more productive with Terraform and related technologies!
Congratulations! That’s a great achievement!
Thank you!!
