8:30 AM EDT – Keynote Pre-show

The day is going to be kicked off with a look at the top IT trends with tech reporter Mary Jo Foley, MVP customer Naomi Moneypenny and analyst Andrew Snodgrass. There will also be a special engineering segment with Jeffrey Snover; the creator of PowerShell!

9:00 AM EDT – Microsoft Ignite Keynote

Technology continues to rapidly grow, offering us new ways of working and empowering digital transformation for all organizations. Key to our ability to harness technology is our ability to evolve with it, to harness new capabilities and learn new skills. Join Scott Guthrie, Executive Vice President, Microsoft; on Monday morning to start Microsoft Ignite. Scott will focus on how technology enables digital transformation and, along with guests, demonstrate new technologies. He will also discuss how IT is transforming and detail investments and programs to help enable this.

You can watch the keynote in person in the Phillips Arena, (please arrive in sufficient time to pass through security at the Arena). The keynote will be streamed live on Ignite.Microsoft.com and you can also join us to watch the live feed in Hall C1 of the Georgia World Congress Center at the Microsoft Ignite Studio stage where we will host the pre and post keynote webcast.

10:30 AM EDT – Keynote Post-show

A panel reviews and discusses key moments from the keynote and they look ahead to the General Sessions.

11:00 AM EDT – General Sessions

All 8 General Sessions will be live streamed! Choose which one you want to see live, and then catch the remaining sessions on-demand later!

12:15 PM to 3:20 PM EDT – Microsoft Ignite Studio

Watch engaging and demo-rich presentations from Microsoft experts and engineers: Jeffrey Snover, Corey Saunders, Adam Harmetz, Mark Russinovitch and a special segment with Formula One’s IT team. We also take a look at our Technical Community and what it can do for you.

3:20 PM EDT – Innovation Keynote Pre-show

Join in for a special IT Pro segment followed by Bret Arsenault talking about security adoption from an MSIT perspective. Then, IDG’s Blair Hanley Frank joins in to discuss the most exciting tech trends in the industry.

4:00 PM EDT – Innovation Keynote

Satya Nadella will close the first day of Microsoft Ignite with a must-see presentation, focused on next generation innovations and investments that are fundamental to shaping IT in the foreseeable future. He will discuss emerging trends and how you can prepare to take advantage of them in your organization today.

5:00 PM EDT – Innovation Keynote Post-show

The day is wrapped up with a review of highlights by Alex Bradley, and Microsoft Ignite host, Julia White.
