Featured Inspiration

To provide something a little unique this week, I thought I’d share a really interesting video from Scott Hanselman, Kendra Havens, Maria Naggaga Nakanwagi, Kasey Uhlenhuth, and Donovan Brown. In this special “How to get started with technical public speaking!” they get into the details of how they first started, as well as many tips for how they prepare and delivery their own talks today. Not one of them has the same tips or the same origin, and this video should help give you some insight to get over the #1 fear people have: The fear of public speaking.

Have you given a talk to a local user group, or just a group of fellow employees at work? If not, then I really encourage you to push yourself to the next level and start sharing your own knowledge with groups of people that are willing to learn.
